As a Business Development Representative at Osano, you will act as a discerning filter rather than a funnel. Your role is not merely to secure meetings but to protect the valuable time of our Account Executives (AEs) and prospects by identifying those whom we can truly assist.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting in-depth research on prospects before initiating contact.
- Assessing whether Osano can deliver genuine results before scheduling demos.
- Qualifying prospects based on alignment, not just interest.
- Engaging in consultative selling rather than transactional exchanges.

The Role
- Generate a qualified sales pipeline for our AE team through proactive outbound prospecting across marketing, compliance, data security, legal, and privacy departments of businesses, regardless of size.
- Research and identify prospects navigating privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and emerging local laws.
- Craft personalized and thoughtful outreach strategies.
- Qualify prospects based on their goals, challenges, and fit before transitioning them to AEs.
- Foster authentic relationships through creativity, curiosity, and genuine assistance.
- Stay informed about privacy trends, regulations, and Osano’s evolving product offerings.
