Join the McWane Ductile team as an Outside Sales Representative in Southern California. In this role, you will champion the promotion and sales of our exceptional Ductile Pipe products to a diverse clientele, including municipal entities, consulting engineers, and prospective customers. You will maintain strong relationships with distributors and provide them with the support they need to effectively market our products. This position is home-based, requiring you to reside within the designated sales territory, ideally centrally located in Riverside County, with travel as a significant aspect of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the customer base within your assigned territory.
- Effectively promote our comprehensive product range to engineers, potential clients, and end-users.
- Analyze current market conditions and emerging trends.
- Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and presentations.
- Conduct competitive product and company evaluations.
- Deliver engaging presentations on various topics to diverse audiences.
- Coordinate with the credit department to gather project data and manage collections.
- Interpret site drawings, plans, and specifications proficiently.
- Investigate customer complaints and oversee resolutions.
- Show proper product application handling and installation techniques both in the field and office.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and meetings, promoting our products and services.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage customer interactions, opportunities, quotes, and results effectively.
