Vilgain is on an impressive growth trajectory, boasting a remarkable 100%+ increase year-over-year, fueled by our commitment to delivering the most accessible and highest-quality food and supplements.
At Vilgain, every product begins with a straightforward concept: to create something clean, functional, and genuinely superior to what currently exists. Packaging plays a crucial role in this narrative. We are seeking a Packaging Manager who stands at the intersection of design and engineering—someone passionate about aesthetics, knowledgeable about manufacturing processes, and eager to transform concepts into tangible, manufacturable packaging that enhances our brand.
This position is ideal for individuals who have a background in design but are eager to delve deeper into the technical aspects of packaging. Your input will shape how Vilgain products look, feel, function, and differentiate themselves—from initial sketches through to production.
If you have a passion for developing innovative solutions, enjoy experimentation, focus on intricate details, and excel at transforming beautiful ideas into practical, scalable realities, this is the perfect environment for you to thrive.⬇
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with core project teams to ensure all product designs comply with Vilgain’s packaging standards and best practices.
Incorporate manufacturing expertise into design evaluations and risk assessments (including FMEA) to ensure production-ready solutions.
Develop and validate functional specifications for packaging components and systems.
Establish testing plans for innovation projects and align them with network timelines.
Lead comprehensive packaging changes, from feasibility assessments to trials and final rollouts across suppliers and production lines.
Analyze test data to identify challenges and provide recommendations that enhance packaging performance and manufacturability.
Guide lab technicians through pilot runs, line trials, and experimental testing processes.
Enhance future capabilities by documenting best practices and validating design rules for forthcoming innovations.
