Part-Time Associate Faculty in Physical Education and Health Departments
Location: Lynnwood, Washington
We are constantly accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in the Physical Education and Health Departments. If you are interested in joining our part-time pool, please follow the application guidelines outlined below. Applications will be kept on file for one year, and you may update and resubmit your application annually if you wish to remain in the pool.
It is essential for faculty in Health and Physical Education to hold current instructional certifications relevant to their discipline, along with a valid CPR/First Aid certification. This role reports to the Dean of the Health and Human Services division.

Job Description
We are seeking dedicated part-time instructors to teach various courses in the Physical Education and Health Departments. Current opportunities include instruction in health and emergency response courses, bodybuilding for men and women, basketball, volleyball, and other sports-based classes. Each quarter typically lasts eleven weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver effective instruction to individuals, small groups, or entire classes utilizing diverse teaching methods suited to the assignment and instructional mode.
Create engaging course materials, including assignments, activities, and assessments aligned with course objectives.
Prepare syllabi and necessary documentation in accordance with departmental standards and institutional requirements.
Assess student performance, assign grades, and maintain accurate grading records.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Physical Education, Health, Recreation, or a related field; OR a Bachelor's Degree coupled with relevant certifications, training, and experience.
Experience in teaching and coaching in basketball, softball, soccer, volleyball, or baseball.
