Job Overview:
Join our team as a Part-Time Customer Service Representative and play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves handling customer inquiries and resolving issues via phone, internet, or written correspondence. You will be part of a dynamic team that values excellent communication and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer service inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Document and track all interactions with members, providers, and brokers.
- Provide explanations of member policy benefits and coordinate with Medicare.
- Handle complaints using relevant recording/reporting systems.
- Ensure compliance with regional compliance authority and Medicare requirements.
- Verify member plan eligibility and determine applicable coverage provisions.
- Conduct reviews of member claim histories to ensure accurate tracking of benefits.
- Utilize system tools to produce high-quality correspondence and documentation.
- Adhere to privacy policies and best practices.
Work Schedule: The call center operates from 7 AM to 8 PM Central Time. Part-time shifts will be 4 to 5 hours between 8 AM and 1 PM. Initial training will require full-time hours for 4 weeks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum typing speed of 30-35 words per minute.
- At least one year of experience in Medicaid/Medicare.
- Previous experience in a call center or contact center environment.
- Ability to attend training sessions with full-time hours.
