Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with various dermatological conditions. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care effectively
- Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assess, diagnose, and treat both the physical and mental well-being of residents
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
- Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests
- Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and implement treatment protocols
- Uphold a commitment to person-centered care
- Perform skin evaluations and screenings
- Conduct skin biopsies and provide wound care
- Diagnose and treat a range of skin conditions, from acute to chronic, benign to malignant
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Possess an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
- DEA License required
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
