THE JOB
As a part-time Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral member of our emergency care team, where every moment is crucial. You will manage a variety of cases, from minor to complex emergencies, working closely with our veterinary staff to provide top-quality, empathetic care. Your responsibilities will include triage, treatment, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while offering support and compassion to pet parents in their most trying times. This role is perfect for someone eager to apply their training, expand their skills, and make a significant difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Provide exceptional care to every patient and their families—because they matter! You will accompany them through treatments, tests, and beyond.
- Act swiftly to deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during critical moments, from initial triage to discharge.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and execute advanced procedures, including IVs and blood transfusions.
- Collaborate effectively with your team, contributing to care plans and ensuring a smooth flow of services.
- Be prepared to perform CPR as a trained RECOVER professional, benefiting from ongoing training and development.
