The role is part-time, comprising 20 hours per week.

Required Availability: Mornings, evenings, and every second weekend.

What We Offer

Compensation for this position ranges from €16.22 – €18.03 per hour based on experience.

Rates before 8 AM and after 8 PM start at €20.27 per hour.

Sunday rates begin at €24.33 per hour.

Public Holiday rates commence at €32.44 per hour.

Overall Purpose of the Job

The primary aim of this role is to empower our Members to attain maximum independence in their daily lives by providing assistance in areas such as personal care, domestic tasks, social and educational support, travel, and companionship.

The role will take place in the homes and communities of our Members.

Liaison

The role necessitates building and nurturing relationships with other home carers and maintaining effective communication with the ALS Coordinator and scheduling staff.

Training and Qualifications Required

· Full Major Award at QQI Level 5 in Community & Health Services, Health Service Skills, Healthcare Support, or a relevant qualification, with a commitment to completing the major award.

· Experience in a caring role is essential.

· Must be reliable, trustworthy, and maintain confidentiality.

· Excellent communication skills with a proficient level of spoken and written English are required.

· A full driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
