Join our team at MedStar Franklin Square, a Magnet-designated facility, as a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our fast-paced Emergency Department.
Unit Highlights
At MedStar Franklin Square, our Emergency Department features 62 beds, including 18 fast track beds, and a dedicated Stroke Resuscitation team. As a Comprehensive Stroke Center and STEMI receiving facility, we handle around 70,000 patient visits annually, providing exceptional care to a diverse population. Here, you will gain invaluable experience treating patients with a wide range of medical conditions across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, your role will involve delivering compassionate and skilled care to both patients and their families. You will assess patient conditions, identify health concerns, and formulate effective care plans, either through direct intervention or in collaboration with your nursing team.

Qualifications
- LPN Degree from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- Experience in Clinical Nursing is preferred.
- Active Maryland LPN License or an active Compact State LPN license, along with Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare providers, is required.
