About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Marketing Operations Representative to join our team at Ocean Casino Resort. This part-time position involves working within the Player’s Club and at various Special Events. The successful candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, warmly welcoming guests and assisting them with registration for our Player’s Club and Special Events. You will play a crucial role in the successful execution of events and promotions.
Position Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding guest service by greeting all visitors with a friendly and upbeat attitude.
- Respond to guest inquiries and accurately input their information into our database.
- Effectively explain the benefits of loyalty card programs to guests and team members.
- Enroll guests in the loyalty card program, update their information, distribute cards, and highlight program benefits.
- Maintain awareness of property-wide promotions, events, and programs, communicating these to fellow staff members.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event materials, including stanchion ropes, signage, tables, and other necessary equipment.
- Prepare registration materials for Special Events, such as guest lists, tickets, seating charts, and welcome packets.
- Adhere to all New Jersey regulatory requirements, as well as departmental and company policies, including our business ethics guidelines.
- Occasionally assist with ticketing at the box office as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality of all Ocean Casino Resort trade secrets and proprietary information.
Essential Functions
- Exposure to casino environments, including second-hand smoke, noise, and the fast-paced nature of customer service.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and navigate throughout the casino and hotel areas.
- Frequent use of keyboard and computer monitor, involving repetitive motions.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible or unusual hours as needed.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
