What You'll Do:
- Set occupational therapy treatment goals using both dynamic and standardized assessment tools.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to create cohesive treatment plans and integrative strategies.
- Offer individual therapy sessions and facilitate group or co-treatment sessions with other disciplines when appropriate.
- Maintain patient records, documentation, and accurate billing compliant with federal and state regulations and company policies to ensure a high standard of care.
- Deliver play-based and goal-oriented interventions to enhance sensory processing, regulation, and skill development in daily activities.
- Create functional and engaging experiences to help achieve individualized patient goals.
- Develop strategies and supports to aid individuals in fully participating in daily life activities.
- Work closely with patients and their families to understand their values, interests, and goals.
- Implement programs that encompass all aspects of a child's development, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of therapy programs.
- Educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs to support ongoing treatment.
