As an Outlet Cashier at The Ocean AC, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will be responsible for managing all tender types and register operations while ensuring accurate organization and handling of paperwork and currency. Your commitment to excellent guest service will contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage register bank and oversee all monetary transactions, including cash, charges, and comps during your shift.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various tender methods including cash, comps, coupons, credit cards, and gift certificates.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, pricing, operating hours, and daily specials.
- Foster positive interactions with co-workers and guests, maintaining professionalism and a supportive work environment.
- Adhere to company and departmental uniform, appearance, and hygiene standards.
- Ensure a clean and orderly workspace at all times.
- Complete assigned side work duties promptly and accurately.
Essential Functions:
- Work in a casino environment with exposure to factors such as secondhand smoke, noise levels, and stress from high-pressure customer service.
- Possess basic arithmetic skills.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule.
- Exhibit manual dexterity for data entry and extended computer screen usage.
- Capable of lifting and/or pushing 25 lbs or more.
