Your Role:
Join us in our mission to protect our home planet! As a Seasonal Sales Associate, you will deliver an exceptional customer experience and positively influence the community. You will act as a brand ambassador both in and outside the store, supporting local environmental efforts through donations, volunteer work, and activism.
Main Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers, ensuring a welcoming and engaging shopping experience.
- Address individual customer needs with kindness, respect, and creativity.
- Leverage your knowledge of outdoor sports and products to foster connections with customers and support grassroots environmental groups.
- Contribute to the overall success of the store through excellent customer service, merchandising, operations, and community engagement.
- Perform daily operational tasks, including stock management, cash register operation, and store merchandising during downtime.
Qualifications:
- A passion for the outdoors and a commitment to environmental sustainability.
- Previous experience in customer service, thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Enthusiasm for learning about our products, values, and history, along with a desire to support environmental initiatives.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, demonstrate sound judgment, and creatively solve problems.
- Proficiency in cash handling and register operations.
- Fluency in English and French.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail or the outdoor industry.
- Engagement in core sports such as climbing, skiing, snowboarding, surfing, or fly fishing.
