What Will You Do?
Warehouses are characterized by controlled environments with numerous transport movements and complex logistical processes conducted by both internal and external personnel. All goods stored hold significant value, which brings about various risks, such as internal theft, burglary, vandalism, and embezzlement. Therefore, warehouse security encompasses a range of measures to protect both the premises and the assets within.
As a security officer at our warehouse in Bleiswijk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and structured working environment. Your responsibilities will include maintaining security protocols and identifying any irregularities. Your primary tasks will include:
- Proactively monitoring and ensuring a safe environment;
- Acting as a point of contact for visitors and colleagues;
- Responding professionally to emergencies, such as alarm activations;
- Conducting patrols, including closing rounds;
- Generating reports in our systems.
Secondary Duties:
- Managing keys and controlling access;
- Registering visitors and verifying transport documents;
- Monitoring CCTV and reporting irregularities;
- Conducting identity checks and searches.
