The Speech-Language Pathologist plays a vital role in upholding the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine (NM), following the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and adhering to relevant policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.
- Must be a licensed speech therapist who adheres to the professional Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice as mandated by the State of Illinois.
- This role involves direct patient care, educational responsibilities, and participation in departmental committees aimed at continuous improvement.
- Act as a mentor to fellow therapists and clinical interns, showcasing excellence in professional and clinical practices, communication, education, and leadership.

- Exhibits creative problem-solving skills in adapting treatment modalities based on team feedback.
- Demonstrates proficiency in selecting appropriate evaluations and treatment modalities, conducting re-evaluations per departmental guidelines, and adjusting care plans as needed.
