Join the St. James Hotel this summer for an exciting part-time opportunity as a Seasonal Laundry Attendant! We are currently extending summer job offers!
Work between 20-40 hours per week during the summer, with flexible shifts available in afternoons, evenings, and on weekends.
In addition, you can extend your part-time availability to work up to 20 hours a week throughout May, September, and October. We aim to accommodate your preferred schedule as long as you can work evenings and weekends.
We are looking for a meticulous and dedicated Seasonal Laundry Attendant to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will ensure our linens meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards for our guests. Your tasks will include collecting, sorting, cleaning laundry, and maintaining adequate linen stock throughout the hotel. - Execute all phases of linen processing, including collecting, sorting, weighing, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and delivering.
- Keep laundry machinery and the surrounding area clean and organized.
- Ensure sufficient stock levels of linens across the property.
- Address guest service inquiries and issues professionally and promptly.
- Provide laundry services for both guests and staff as needed.
- Report maintenance issues swiftly and ensure timely resolution.
