About Onebrief
Onebrief is an innovative collaboration and AI-driven workflow platform tailored specifically for military staff. By revolutionizing operational processes, Onebrief empowers teams to achieve superhuman efficiency—faster, smarter, and more effective.
We embrace ownership, strive for excellence, and compete with the spirit and unity of a high-performing Olympic team. Operating as a fully remote company, many of our employees collaborate closely with our clients at military installations globally.
Founded in 2019 by seasoned planners, Onebrief's diverse team includes veterans from all branches and top-tier technologists from leading software firms. Having raised over $320 million from prestigious investors such as Battery Ventures, General Catalyst, Sapphire Ventures, Insight Partners, and Human Capital, Onebrief is currently valued at $2.15 billion. With ongoing growth, we continue to make significant impacts where they matter the most.
Required: Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI; Japanese work authorization or SOFA.
This role is based on-site in Tokyo, Japan.
About You
You are passionate about our users and eager to collaborate with them. This is the most crucial requirement. Implementing new software relies on the enthusiastic support of our user base—skilled planners, primarily at the O-4 and O-5 ranks. You understand their needs and earn their trust.
You possess a deep understanding of large military headquarters and are excited to apply this knowledge with our clients. You are respected by skilled planners, particularly SAMS, JAWS, or SAW graduates in the O-4 to O-6 ranks, as well as by Generals and Admirals. You wake up every day ready to navigate military and political bureaucracy to win over potential customers.
You have a keen eye for detail. Your colleagues depend on you. You have built a reputation as a dedicated contributor on your previous teams. For example, when we are about to conduct a planning exercise that will provide clients their first exposure to our product, no one worries because they know you have everything under control.
You excel at obtaining necessary resources from large government entities. For instance, if our engineer requires admin access to a system on JWICS to troubleshoot technical issues, and everyone insists it’s impossible, you thrive on bureaucratic challenges and resolve the issue with a few strategic calls.
You are technically knowledgeable. While coding skills are not necessary, you need to be tech-savvy and capable of learning new systems quickly.
