The Role
As a Partner Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the sales process by identifying customer needs and effectively showcasing how our products can fulfill those requirements. Your expertise will enable you to communicate our value proposition through engaging presentations, product demonstrations, and successful proof-of-concept evaluations.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct solution presentations, demonstrations, and provide tailored recommendations to prospects and clients.
- Build and maintain technical relationships with existing clients through Quarterly Technical Reviews.
- Assist in crafting responses to Requests for Proposals/Information.
- Represent BeyondTrust at trade shows, seminars, and other company events.
- Utilize popular Sales & Marketing tools, including Salesforce, Confluence, and Skytap.
- Support technical evaluations of our products, including the development of Proof-of-Concept Success Plans.
- Provide ongoing support to BeyondTrust partners.
- Continuously enhance your knowledge of BeyondTrust products and the cybersecurity industry.
What You’ll Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Information Systems) or a related field.
- Over 2 years of experience as a pre-sales engineer in privileged access management or a related enterprise application such as IAM, SIEM, ITDR, etc.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with global software vendors.
- Ability to articulate product differentiators against competitors effectively.
- Prior experience in presenting security products at trade shows and security conferences.
- Extensive technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac, Linux/Unix, Active Directory, SQL, etc.
- Experience working with the cybersecurity partner ecosystem in Australia and New Zealand.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Familiarity with VMware and Hyper-V virtual environments.
Nice To Have
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CEH.
- Experience with BeyondTrust products.
