We invite applications for a passionate and dedicated Pastry Trainee to join our vibrant team at Elix for the upcoming 2026 season. This position offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the art of pastry making while gaining hands-on experience in a luxury hotel environment.
- Assist the Pastry Team in the meticulous preparation and baking of a variety of desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods.
- Adhere to recipes and presentation standards to ensure a consistent quality and taste that exceeds guest expectations.
- Prepare ingredients and equipment for daily service, including precise scaling, measuring, and mixing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to ensure freshness and quality of products.
- Learn from the Pastry Chef and apply innovative techniques to contribute creatively to the development of new desserts.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and timely preparation process.
- Uphold a clean and organized work environment, following strict food safety and sanitation standards.
