Swedish Pediatric Specialty Care is actively seeking a dedicated full-time Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician, either board certified or board eligible, to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing essential support to the inpatient consultation services for the NICU, PICU, and pediatric floor at Swedish Medical Center First Hill, as well as the neonatal units at Swedish Issaquah and Ballard Medical Centers, along with Valley Medical Center in Renton.
The successful candidate will also engage in outpatient consultations for Pediatric Infectious Disease, offering virtual consultation opportunities and e-consults for primary and secondary care pediatricians and family medicine practitioners. In addition to clinical responsibilities, you will play a vital role in Infection Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship Services, advising the Swedish Medical Microbiology Committee, and supporting the Providence/St. Joseph System with various consultation services related to Pediatric Infectious Diseases.
We highly value education and expect our new team member to actively contribute to Continuing Medical Education (CME) for pediatric colleagues, as well as mentor medical residents from the Swedish Family Medicine Residency programs and medical students from the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University.
Our compensation package ranges from $222,077 to $294,444 per year, with a comprehensive benefits program that includes health, vision, dental insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and more. Additionally, providers may have access to CME benefits.
