Join Therapy 2000, a leading provider of home-based pediatric therapy services including Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy. We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant to support families in Granbury, Texas. This part-time role is part of our DFW division and focuses on delivering high-quality care to our young patients.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough Physical Therapy evaluations utilizing standardized assessments to identify patient therapy needs.
- Exercise clinical judgment to create and execute effective treatment plans in accordance with physician directives.
- Collaborate with caregivers to devise customized home exercise programs.
- Actively participate as a crucial member of the medical team by coordinating care across various healthcare providers.
- Ensure a minimum number of patient visits each week as stipulated by agency requirements.
- Timely complete all necessary documentation including patient charts, progress summaries, and call logs.
- Engage with agency staff to maintain clarity on expectations and standards for quality patient care.
- Perform all duties in accordance with agency policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and ethical standards related to pediatric home health therapy.
Qualifications:
- A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Texas.
- A proactive mindset paired with a proven track record of reliability.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and resource needs in a dynamic environment.
- Competence in using standard workplace technology (laptop, phone, email, web browser).
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Physical Therapist.
- Experience working in a home health care setting.
- Specialty certifications (e.g., PCS).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
