The Role:
Partum Health is excited to invite a dedicated Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our team in providing customized, evidence-based care for our prenatal and postnatal clients in the Metro Detroit area. You will be a critical part of our multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with behavioral health specialists, lactation consultants, nutritionists, doulas, and care coordinators to deliver comprehensive whole-person care for growing families.
As a key team member, you will deliver clinical care during both the antepartum and postpartum periods. Your responsibilities will encompass evaluating, diagnosing, counseling, educating, and treating patients through both in-clinic and telehealth appointments. We welcome Therapists with existing practices who wish to see Partum Health clients, as well as those focused solely on virtual care. This contractor position offers the flexibility to set your own hours and develop your career within our passionate team dedicated to enhancing women’s health for mothers, babies, and families.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care, focusing on physical conditions related to pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
- Conduct initial evaluations of functional needs and desired outcomes.
- Regularly assess patient needs and adapt care plans to promote optimal recovery.
- Provide necessary materials and equipment to facilitate effective therapy sessions.
- Adhere to established safety, environmental, and infection control protocols.
- Utilize our HIPAA-compliant chat to communicate with patients as needed.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
- Document patient education and progress in our HIPAA-compliant EHR system.
- Commit to professional growth through education initiatives that enhance patient education services.
- Ensure a high standard of clinical care and patient experience, upholding ethical and professional standards to maintain patient confidentiality.
