About Our Team

The People and Culture Manager will play a vital role in providing both operational and strategic support to our leadership teams at the Factor Ready to Eat site. This position is crucial for fostering a culture of excellence within our People functions, executing key initiatives, and ensuring an outstanding employee experience. The role reports directly to the Director of People and Culture Business Partners and leads a dedicated team of HR professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee comprehensive HR programs covering onboarding, performance management, organizational design, benefits, learning and development, diversity and inclusion, and offboarding to align with business needs.
  • Build strategic relationships with business partners, fostering trust and influencing key decisions.
  • Analyze and address root causes of issues quickly using data, consulting with business leaders to illustrate how decisions impact the site and the broader network.
  • Align with business objectives, proposing innovative approaches, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and the growth of the People team.
  • Responsible for monitoring key People metrics such as employee engagement, regrettable turnover, and absenteeism.
  • Coach and develop the local HR team while collaborating with HR colleagues across Canada to ensure consistency and alignment in HR practices.
  • Lead site-level projects, gaining stakeholder buy-in, and executing key results through effective change and project management skills.
  • Maintain a hands-on approach, actively gauging employee sentiment to promote high engagement levels.
  • Drive and implement effective employee relations, retention, and reward programs.
  • Possess a solution-oriented mindset, thriving in a results-driven environment while identifying problems and implementing timely solutions.
  • Exhibit a strong customer service focus, both internally and externally.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
