The Role
We are seeking a People Operations Manager to lead and enhance the core People programs that support our expanding team. This pivotal role operates at the intersection of systems, programs, and employee experience. You will be tasked with overseeing essential People infrastructure including compensation operations, People systems (Rippling, Lattice, Sequoia), leave management, performance cycles, and engagement surveys. Reporting directly to the Head of People, you will collaborate closely with department leaders to devise People processes that ensure a meaningful and positive experience for all Assemblers.
This position is based in our San Francisco or New York City office and will require in-office attendance three days a week (Monday, Thursday, and one additional day of your choice).
What You’ll Work On
Compensation Operations: Manage compensation benchmarking and support compensation reviews, closely collaborating with the People and Finance teams to align with our compensation principles and philosophy.
Performance Cycles: Oversee performance cycles from start to finish, including timelines, calibrations, and communications, while equipping managers to conduct effective reviews with their teams.
Engagement and Feedback: Partner with the People team to initiate engagement and pulse surveys, working with leadership to transform feedback into tangible improvements for the Assembler experience.
People Systems & Vendors: Assume day-to-day ownership of our People systems (e.g., Rippling, Lattice, Sequoia) and manage vendor relationships, ensuring our systems scale effectively with our growth.
