The Per Diem Crisis Clinician is tasked with providing immediate response to critical incidents reported by Solutions EAP clients. This role involves delivering clinical interventions, managing crises, conducting risk assessments, safety planning, and making referrals to adequately address the needs of individuals and organizations contracted with Solutions EAP. You will be on-call during contracted hours to respond to these incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Rapidly respond to requests from Solutions EAP clients for support during critical incidents affecting employees.
- Conduct clinical assessments and diagnoses for a variety of issues presented by employees and leadership.
- Deliver brief problem-solving support, motivational counseling, and crisis intervention;
- Facilitate appropriate referrals to relevant resources;
- Develop a comprehensive range of referral resources to address diverse employee needs, including cultural and ethnic considerations;
- Communicate effectively with the SEAP Director on the next business day or via phone in emergency situations.
- Provide on-site clinical interventions to assist employees in coping with loss and trauma responses;
- Ensure confidentiality of all client protected health information and comply with all HIPAA policies and procedures;
- Exhibit ethical behavior and cultural sensitivity in all interactions with individuals from diverse backgrounds;
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support business operations.
