As a Per Diem Pediatric Registered Nurse at Atria, you will deliver personalized and exceptional healthcare to our pediatric patients. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Atria pediatricians and advanced care practitioners to provide preventive, primary, and urgent care to members both at home and within the institute.
- Delivering tailored nursing care to pediatric patients and fostering strong relationships with each member.
- Executing minor procedures, including vaccinations, phlebotomy, and peripheral IV insertion for medication administration under a provider's authority.
- Conducting point-of-care testing at home, such as rapid COVID-19, flu, and strep tests.
- Collecting and processing samples using medical testing equipment available at the institute.
- Completing necessary documentation for members as required.
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to clinical practice, including medication inventory, supply ordering, and scheduling visits.
- Communicating effectively with primary care and specialty clinical staff within a team-based care model.
- Educating members about Atria's offerings, including medication kits, telemedicine tools, and guidance on managing acute and chronic conditions.
- Triage member calls to assess potential sick visits.
- Maintaining and upkeeping professional licenses, certifications, state requirements, and national credentials.
- Documenting and managing medical records for members accurately.
