Key Responsibilities:Conduct fiber coupling measurements to validate device performance.Enhance and optimize fiber packaging processes, emphasizing yield and throughput.Collaborate with internal testing teams to evaluate the performance of packaged quantum devices in cryogenic settings.Build and maintain partnerships with external vendors to streamline the packaging process.Ideal Candidate Profile:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Optics, or a related discipline.Minimum of 3 years of industry experience with active alignment systems, fiber optics, and integrated photonic devices.Proven hands-on experience in nanofabrication and optical packaging tasks.Expertise in fiber packaging process development, fiber alignment, photonic design, and optical adhesives.Experience in developing processes for automated assembly systems.Skilled in designing, building, and utilizing optical testing infrastructures.Familiarity with fabrication processes and design constraints for nanostructures.Knowledge of cryogenic testing and operations is advantageous.Proficiency in nanophotonic device modeling and CAD software is a plus.
