Location: Normandy Park, WA, close to Seattle, WA
Work Environment: Private Physical Therapy Office
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Patient Load: 1 patient per hour
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 annually plus comprehensive benefits
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to become part of our esteemed private physical therapy clinic in the Normandy Park area. In this pivotal role, you will assist patients in their treatment sessions, ensuring they navigate their recovery safely and effectively under the guidance of the supervising Physical Therapist. This position is ideal for an individual who values personalized patient interaction, appreciates a structured workday, and desires to contribute to a clinic that prioritizes quality of care over volume.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer physical therapy treatments as instructed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through exercise routines and therapy-focused activities
- Assess patient performance and relay any changes or concerns
- Reinforce correct techniques and movement patterns during sessions
- Keep precise treatment records in the medical documentation system
- Prepare treatment spaces and equipment for daily patient care
- Facilitate a professional and seamless clinic experience for both patients and staff
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
- Current Washington PTA license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Washington
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
- Capable of accurately following a Physical Therapist’s care plans
- Organized, professional, and adept at working in a private outpatient environment
