- Supervise the work of physical therapy assistants and coordinate care in various settings, including home health environments.
- Provide clinical oversight to the home health care team when appropriate.
- Participate in care meetings and quality improvement initiatives as assigned.
- Communicate treatment goals and methods clearly to patients and their families, including guidance on the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices and home care procedures.
- Coach students and ancillary staff in basic physical therapy techniques and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient rehabilitation.
