Join our team at Northwestern Medicine as a Physical Therapist in our McHenry Inpatient Registry. This role is essential for providing care on an as-needed basis, especially when colleagues are on PTO or FMLA. Our compensation structure offers competitive rates: $52.00 for committing to two weekend shifts each month, or $58.00 for four weekend shifts.

- A licensed physical therapist in the State of Illinois, following the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice set forth by the professional organization.
- This position entails direct patient care, educational responsibilities, participation on relevant committees, and involvement in departmental process improvement.
- Act as a role model for therapists and clinical interns in professional, clinical, communication, educational, and leadership activities.
Responsibilities:

- Maintain a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Deliver accurate information and timely updates to patients and clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

- Oversee the patient care plan by collaborating consistently with treating PTs and PTAs.
- Foster teamwork by assisting colleagues across departments, communicating effectively, and respecting diverse opinions.
- Efficiently manage organizational resources and your own work schedule to complete tasks on time.
- Contribute to continuous improvement processes and cost-reduction efforts.
