About the Role:
- The Physical Therapy Technician is an essential team member working under the guidance of licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists.
- Compliance with state regulations and company policies is crucial as you assist in delivering quality patient care.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are paramount to enhance patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use.
- Assist and observe patients during prescribed therapy exercises, documenting their responses.
- Administer basic treatments as instructed, including applying ice packs and heat pads.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing equipment and therapy areas, as well as managing linens.
- Perform administrative duties such as patient intake assistance, answering calls, and scheduling appointments.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software applications.
