Role Overview:
- The Physical Therapy Technician is an essential unlicensed role working directly under the supervision of licensed Physical or Occupational Therapists.
- Complying with state regulations and company policies, you will support patient care and contribute to the therapeutic process.
- Strong organizational abilities and a keen eye for detail are crucial to enhance patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use efficiently.
- Assist and observe patients during their therapy sessions, documenting their progress.
- Administer basic treatments as directed, including applying ice packs and heat pads.
- Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing equipment and therapy spaces and laundering linens.
- Handle administrative tasks such as patient intake, phone inquiries, and appointment scheduling.
- Perform additional duties as required to support clinic operations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills are a must.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with computers and the capability to learn new software applications.
