As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with both intra- and interdepartmental staff to provide comprehensive treatment for individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges. Utilizing nationally accepted treatment standards, you will document care within an electronic health record system, ensuring the highest quality of service.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Collaborating with various departments to deliver effective treatment for behavioral health patients.
- Conducting thorough examinations and composing detailed evaluations and reports.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests for informed treatment decisions.
- Managing and prescribing medications as per patient needs.
- Referring patients to specialized care when necessary.
- Adhering to ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and American Correctional Association standards.
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives, including peer reviews.
- Participating in institutional 24-hour on-call duties as required.
- Establishing collaborative agreements where needed.
