Position Overview:
The Post Production Manager is a vital supervisory role within our Inspection Center, responsible for managing a team dedicated to the daily operations of vehicle reconditioning. This position involves overseeing the entire reconditioning process and leading a team that includes at least five leads and up to 70 front-line associates in a lean manufacturing setting. The Post Production Manager will cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, high employee engagement, and ensure that quality, production, and cost objectives are consistently met.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations within the Inspection Center.
- Mentor and hold direct reports accountable, facilitating succession planning through coaching, leadership development, and performance management.
- Contribute to the formulation and execution of strategic plans, goals, and objectives in alignment with the company’s vision.
- Ensure compliance with operating standards, policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
- Foster a work environment that promotes effective communication, team unity, and adherence to Carvana’s values.
- Maintain a robust supervisory staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training new employees.
- Guarantee that training and certification processes for career progression are properly implemented.
- Provide competency-based feedback to leads and associates through training and mentorship.
- Assist in production planning and ensure adequate production capacity levels for each line.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and loss prevention guidelines.
