The Abudayyeh-Gootenberg lab (abugootlab.org), affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Harvard Medical School, is seeking a skilled computational biologist for a postdoctoral position. This role involves engaging with a dynamic team to explore stem cells through advanced genome-scale functional genomics and single-cell technologies. You will be responsible for processing extensive single-cell datasets, constructing deep learning models to interpret these datasets, and developing predictive models to anticipate cellular responses to various perturbations. Ultimately, the goal is to generate sufficient perturbation data across diverse cell types to create models that can predict cellular reactions and pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies.
