As we continue to expand our team of economists, we are actively seeking a
Pre-Doctoral Economist Specializing in Macroeconomics (m/f/d)
Main Responsibilities
Enhance our expertise in macroeconomic policies (both fiscal and monetary) and their implications across Europe, as part of our growing research team.
Conduct applied empirical research related to a new project investigating the distributional and employment effects of macroeconomic policies.
Develop and execute independent research initiatives in macroeconomics or fiscal policy.
Contribute to the dissemination of our research findings within public discourse.
Qualifications
Master's degree (or nearing completion) in economics or related fields, such as political economy.
Strong interest in empirical research methodologies.
Proficiency in econometrics and quantitative research techniques.
Experience with large microeconomic datasets is preferred but not mandatory.
Prior research in macroeconomics or fiscal policy is advantageous but not a strict requirement.
Interest in climate policy issues.
Excellent command of the English language.
Strong teamwork capabilities.
Engagement with current economic policy debates.
Proficiency in German is not required but would be beneficial.
