The Prenatal Account Executive based in Minnetonka is a distinguished sales professional in the prenatal diagnostics field with a strong background in diagnostic and genetic testing product sales. You will introduce the first and only single-gene NIPT-supported carrier and aneuploidy screening to OBGYN clinics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) practices. Your role includes delivering clinical insights to both external clients and internal teams, significantly influencing the communication of test benefits to healthcare providers and patients, while also shaping the evolution of our offerings to better meet market demands. This is a field sales position reporting to a Regional Manager - Prenatal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhancing the utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen by driving market development through direct sales to individual OBGYNs, MFMs, and Genetic Counselors.
- Building and maintaining commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
- Proactively prospecting and nurturing new business while sustaining key partnerships.
- Identifying and leveraging commercial growth opportunities within your assigned region, primarily focusing on OBGYN, MFM, and Genetic Counseling clinics, as well as hospital systems and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
- Formulating and executing a strategic business plan aimed at rapidly increasing usage in your territory.
- Overseeing the complete sales lifecycle, including new business development and lead generation.
- Participating in local trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events.
