Position Overview: PreSales Engineer for Physical Security
Join our dynamic team as a Physical Security Sales Engineer where your expertise will serve as a vital link between technology solutions and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming complex security challenges into streamlined solutions, specializing in both cloud-based and on-premise systems for video surveillance, access control, and integrated security.
This impactful position allows you to directly influence project design, enhance profit margins, and elevate customer experiences. Collaborate with a driven sales team and an engineering department dedicated to innovation and continuous growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Account Executives to assess opportunities, devise system architectures, and craft compelling proposals that address customer needs.
• Conduct thorough site evaluations, technology consultations, and system walkthroughs to ensure solutions are not only technically robust but also scalable.
• Present captivating technical demonstrations and sales presentations that effectively convey the value and capabilities of our solutions.
• Simplify technical specifications into clear, customer-friendly value propositions.
• Design and articulate both cloud-managed and on-premise architectures tailored to client specifications.
• Work closely with project management and engineering teams to facilitate seamless transitions and successful project execution.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical security, networking, IoT, and integration technologies.
• Contribute to RFP responses, solution architecture, and pre-sales documentation adhering to our rigorous standards of accuracy and professionalism.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in sales engineering, system design, or technical account management within the physical security or low-voltage integration sectors.
• Practical knowledge of video surveillance systems (VMS/NVR), access control, and networking principles.
• Familiarity with leading platforms such as Avigilon Alta, Avigilon Unity, OpenEye, Salient, Axis, HID, Mercury, Software House, or equivalent.
• Exceptional communication abilities, comfortable engaging in diverse settings including field visits, video calls, and executive presentations.
• A proactive, self-motivated individual with a natural curiosity and a drive to deliver results.
