As the Pressroom Supervisor, you will oversee and enhance lithography press production, ensuring we surpass both internal and external customer expectations in terms of safety, quality, productivity, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion safety by eliminating unsafe behaviors and conditions within the plant. Actively engage in Safety Training Observation Program techniques and maintain excellent housekeeping practices across all shifts.
- Ensure effective communication within the Pressroom and with all internal and external customers, guaranteeing that production requirements, schedules, quality, and final deliveries meet expectations.
- Collaborate with Press Management to develop training materials that foster the continuous growth of all Press employees.
- Provide recommendations on hiring, terminations, promotions, transfers, and training of Pressroom personnel. Inspire and motivate staff to align with department objectives and meet production goals.
- Determine appropriate staffing for each shift in conjunction with other supervisors and departments, ensuring all quality and production requirements are met.
- Maintain and monitor all necessary records and documents as assigned.
- Promote the philosophies and tools of our Total Quality Program, advocating for teamwork and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Perform additional related duties as needed.
