We are seeking a Principal Scientist specializing in Fault-Tolerant Quantum Algorithms to spearhead the technical advancements in leveraging IonQ's quantum systems to develop uniquely differentiated quantum solutions that will significantly benefit society. As a Principal Scientist, you will be a visionary leader for a cross-disciplinary team dedicated to guiding IonQ on a multi-generational journey to tackle the world's most intricate challenges using our state-of-the-art quantum computers.
As a globally recognized authority on fault-tolerant algorithms, you will play a pivotal role in uncovering the next wave of quantum applications expected to outperform current classical methodologies. Your contributions will be integral to the development of foundational intellectual property, computational resource models, long-term strategic roadmaps, and comprehensive workflows that could disrupt the computing landscape.
