Your Role:
We are on the lookout for a Principal Consultant in the San Diego area to bolster our local office's growth. Ideal candidates will possess a consulting background in site investigation and remediation, due diligence, compliance, or air quality management. As our new Principal, you will become an integral part of our team, addressing a wide spectrum of environmental challenges faced by our clients. Bring your expertise in Environmental Consulting and Business Development to the forefront as you work towards innovative and sustainable solutions. You will serve as a reliable advisor to clients, delivering technical and business insights while collaborating with our skilled professionals in areas like due diligence, site remediation for contaminated materials, real estate redevelopment, hazardous waste management, and compliance with environmental regulations. A strong emphasis will be placed on business development, ensuring a steady flow of projects that support the office's expansion. Typically, Principals are expected to generate enough business to sustain 2-3 full-time staff members and guide clients throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing projects effectively, ensuring timely, profitable, and high-quality delivery. Your Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities while fostering client relationships;
- Oversee project management, client interaction, team leadership, and regulatory agency engagement;
- Conduct critical reviews of project requirements, applicable environmental regulations, and communicate findings effectively;
- Deliver projects that may involve site visits, preparation, and review of deliverables;
- Act as a role model, ensuring the health, safety, and security of our team.
