We are currently seeking a skilled Network Architect to join our Boulder, CO team. Ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in network engineering, a hands-on approach to resolving complex network challenges, a collaborative mindset, and a proven track record of mentoring junior members. You should demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, a strong commitment to security and data protection, and a customer-centric focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-performance, secure data center networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) as part of product and corporate infrastructure teams.
- Configure and install routers and other network devices.
- Monitor critical network indicators (e.g., performance, device health, integrity).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues escalated from lower service desk tiers across deployed, cloud, and local infrastructures.
- Automate tasks and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Provide mentorship on technical issues to team members.
- Develop, oversee, and test security measures (e.g., access authentication, disaster recovery).
- Collaborate with users to design optimal solutions.
- Architect and implement solutions to enhance network performance, capacity, and scalability.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevant experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
- Expertise in data center network architecture and design, particularly with spine-leaf topology.
- CCIE (Data Center) or CCNP certification preferred; CCIE highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles including monitoring, hardening, threat modeling, and access control models.
