The Opportunity
We are in search of a Principal / Staff Product Manager to guide the complete discovery and validation process for innovative product concepts, shaping the strategic learning agenda for identifying, testing, and scaling future product initiatives. This role will involve defining opportunity areas, designing and executing experiments from discovery to pilot phases, integrating Go-To-Market (GTM) validation, and consolidating insights into actionable recommendations for leadership. You will be part of the New Products team, which focuses on identifying future opportunities and aligning engineering investments with genuine customer needs, market trends, and funding indicators. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned product leader with extensive 0→1 experience, strong strategic acumen, and a preference for data-driven decision-making.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and articulate promising opportunity areas aligned with emerging market dynamics, policy changes, and funding trends (e.g., AI-driven instruction, special education, parent-directed learning).
- Lead structured 6-week cycles from discovery to pilot that swiftly test problem-solution alignment with real customers.
- Define and implement success metrics and Innovation Scorecards to objectively assess experiments.
- Integrate GTM validation into the discovery process, including buyer interviews, value messaging assessments, and preliminary pricing strategies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering to rapidly develop and deploy testable pilots and learn from usage data.
