About the job
About the Team:
The Sensors Division at Systems Technology Research (STR) is dedicated to the innovation and analysis of cutting-edge sensor technologies across RF, acoustic, and electro-optical domains. Our focus includes creating novel sensors and sophisticated information processing techniques, from initial concepts through prototype development. The Subsea and Seabed Systems (SSS) Group specializes in developing advanced underwater sensor and signal processing systems that support critical intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR), and counter-ISR applications.
The Role:
We are in search of a highly-skilled Principal Program Manager with a robust background in undersea warfare to lead a diverse portfolio of programs aimed at pioneering future undersea systems. This portfolio encompasses everything from concept generation to prototype development, with the ambition of advancing to Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) or full production. We seek candidates who possess experience navigating varying levels of technology readiness and adapting processes accordingly. In this role, you will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams of researchers, scientists, and engineers across multiple STR locations to achieve cost, schedule, and performance objectives for innovative and complex national security programs. Your key responsibilities will involve establishing and executing program baselines, including personnel management, deliverables, and subcontractor oversight while proactively identifying risks and resolving challenges related to resources, security, and contracts, all while meeting stakeholder expectations.
