Introducing the Estates Vertical
The Estates Vertical at LEAP is a dedicated team focused on developing innovative software solutions for Wills & Estates lawyers. Our diverse group of legal experts, software developers, designers, and client specialists collaborates closely to create practical applications that are used daily by Wills & Estates firms.
Guided by experienced Australian Wills & Estates lawyers and a robust client feedback mechanism, we ensure that our software evolves in accordance with actual legal practices.
Your Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for an Estates Lawyer with substantial probate experience who is eager to transcend traditional legal practices and assist in designing tools that enhance them. As a Probate Specialist, you will help shape our new application by translating real-world workflows into user-friendly, scalable software. Leveraging your extensive probate knowledge, you will define project scope, prioritize features, and collaborate with a dedicated developer to create a tailored application within LEAP.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the Estates Vertical, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our Estates product strategy. This position offers considerable autonomy and ownership, as the applications you help to develop will directly influence thousands of Estates practitioners in Australia, enhancing their efficiency, consistency, and client outcomes.
Your Responsibilities:
- Convert workflows into precise product specifications.
- Outline and scope the application roadmap, breaking down intricate processes into organized, actionable components.
- Collaborate daily with a dedicated developer to refine functionalities, review builds, clarify requirements, and ensure legal accuracy.
- Determine optimal data structuring to support the applications.
