The Process Engineer will focus on identifying and implementing process enhancements specifically within the centralized portioning operations at our Bedford Park facility, with an emphasis on automated liquid filling and vibratory filling processes. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to bolster process efficiency, equipment reliability, and compliance with standard operational procedures.
Process Ownership & Standard Work
- Take ownership of centralized portioning processes by developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, operating parameters, and process documentation for portioning systems.
- Analyze and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for centralized portioning operations using data and on-site observations to identify variances, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement that affect safety, quality, throughput, and yield.
- Lead the scoping and implementation of process improvements and updates to standard work, ensuring that changes are practical, sustainable, and integrated with daily operational activities.
