Join MasterBrand Cabinets LLC as a Process Engineer Intern, an exciting opportunity to engage in meaningful and value-driven projects within our Operations department. Each intern will collaborate closely with a dedicated manager who will provide guidance, outline project objectives, and deliver performance feedback. This internship is project-focused, offering you extensive insight into daily operational tasks. At the conclusion of your internship, you will present your project findings and insights to the team.
As a vital member of our team, you will collaborate with professionals from various departments, contributing to initiatives such as project leadership, continuous improvement efforts, engineering projects, team leadership, and human resources support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in continuous improvement and process engineering initiatives across manufacturing and operations.
- Conduct time studies and work observations to document existing processes.
- Participate in process audits, standard work verification, and compliance assessments.
- Collect, analyze, and visualize operational data, including cycle time, throughput, waste, and KPIs.
- Support the adoption of Lean methodologies such as 6S, Kanban, SMED, and value stream mapping.
- Co-lead or assist in Kaizen events, problem-solving workshops, and lean training sessions.
- Prepare presentations and reports summarizing project findings, recommendations, and outcomes.
