Role Overview
The Procurement Analyst will play a critical role in enhancing the Bank’s procurement operations in alignment with our national expansion objectives. This position is responsible for ensuring cost optimization, effective vendor management, standardized processes, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls across all operational states.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing a scalable, technology-driven procurement function that fosters operational efficiency, mitigates risks, and drives value creation.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Procurement Operations
• Oversee and manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to vendor payment.
• Ensure that procurement processes align with approved budgets and authority limits.
• Enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regarding procurement turnaround times.
• Maintain up-to-date records of purchase requests and invoices.
Vendor Management & Governance
• Facilitate vendor onboarding, due diligence, KYC documentation, and compliance checks.
• Regularly review and update the approved vendor database.
• Assist in vendor performance evaluations and cost benchmarking.
Cost Optimization & Strategic Sourcing
• Conduct price comparisons, spend analyses, and review cost trends.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and vendor consolidation.
Compliance & Internal Controls
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Support internal and external audit reviews and recommend process improvements.
Reporting & Analytics
• Generate periodic procurement reports, including spend analysis and vendor performance metrics.
