Join Zipdev as a Procurement Specialist, where you will engage with one of our esteemed international clients specializing in Managed Service Provider (MSP) products. This pivotal role involves overseeing management, distribution, and procurement of products, contributing to our client's success through the following responsibilities:
Vendor Management & Distributor Coordination
- Foster and maintain productive relationships with key distributors like Ingram Micro and TD Synnex to facilitate efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.
- Continuously assess pricing, product availability, lead times, and promotional opportunities through active engagement with distributors.
Product Procurement
- Coordinate the acquisition of IT equipment including servers, network hardware, PCs, peripherals, and other related technology products.
- Monitor order statuses, logistics, delivery timelines, and ensure the precise fulfillment of company requirements.
Software Licensing & Renewals
- Oversee the lifecycle management of licenses for software products such as FortiGate, Microsoft CSP, Duo, Adobe, SSL certificates, and domain registrations.
- Ensure timely renewals and compliance with licensing terms and conditions.
Quotation & Pricing Administration
- Generate accurate pricing estimates for internal stakeholders and clients using tools like ConnectWise and CPQ.
- Assist internal teams by identifying competitive hardware and software options aligned with company standards.
Warranty and Service Agreement Administration
- Keep track of hardware warranty periods and manage renewals or replacement requests as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve warranty-related issues and minimize operational disruptions.
License Tracking and Compliance
- Maintain thorough documentation for all software licenses, ensuring records are up-to-date and ready for audits.
- Provide support for internal or external reviews concerning licensing and usage compliance.
Systems Integration & Procurement Tools
- Assist in the integration and optimization of procurement tools and systems to enhance ordering workflows.
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping of procurement-related data within platforms such as ConnectWise.
Operations & Process
- Follow standard operating procedures and escalation protocols to ensure smooth operations.
- Escalate complex issues to senior staff when necessary.
Learning & Development
- Actively enhance skills through hands-on experience and training.
- Achieve proficiency in systems, tools, and standards across client environments.
- Welcome coaching and constructive feedback from senior technicians and engineers.
- Progress towards independent issue resolution over time.
