As a Produce Store Merchandiser, you will engage directly with our retail partners, ensuring optimal merchandising of produce in assigned grocery stores. Your mission is to enhance product rotation and elevate customer service through strategic planning, relationship management, and effective in-store support. Building strong rapport with key personnel at each store is essential as you deliver exceptional service and support.
Work Locations:
This position covers the Greater Los Angeles area, specifically in West Los Angeles, Manhattan Beach, and Long Beach. The merchandiser will commute daily to these locations based on customer needs, with occasional travel to other sites as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building: Regularly visit assigned retail stores to support and cultivate relationships with produce managers, receivers, and department leads.
- Quality Control: Ensure product rotation and maintain display standards to meet quality expectations.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct weekly price audits and assess customer needs to enhance service delivery.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside internal teams to address and resolve any store-level challenges.
- Professional Representation: Act as a brand ambassador in all interactions with customers and team members.
- Flexible Scheduling: Be prepared to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, and some weekends based on customer requirements.
